Fly in Spain News 5-2014
Good
news for all FAA (and ICAO) – Pilots flying IR in Europe
According
the new regulation EASA 245/2014 AMC
Every IR (instrument rated Pilot can now convert his FAA-
IR -Rating
in a quite simple way to an EASA-IR-Rating.
Requirements
· 50 hours of PIC (Pilot in command)
· Oral exam with the flight examiner
· IR-(A) Skill
test only, according EASA. No written exams anymore!
And you
have to have an EASA – PPL or CPL licence where the rating will be included.
We can do
this conversion for every pilot, independently where his EASA PPL or CPL
licence is hold in Europe.
Please
be aware, the requirements for an IR (A) skill
test according EASA are much higher than for an FAA-IR initial skill test.
Knowing this
situation we suggest every pilot, how is not a very experience IR Pilot to
undergo a small refresher training (theory and
praxis),
for the IR
procedures on the SIMULATOR or/and on the Aircraft.
We like
to offer you a conversion package
· 2 hours - Refresher Ground
School -
· 1 hour - Refresher Simulator
(FNPT II) session, to review all the necessary IR procedures
· 1 hour - Refresher flight on the Aircraft to prepare you for
the skill test
This will
be in total: 499.-€
If you need
more hours to be ready for the skill test, we can
offer you
· Ground school, 46,50€ /h
· SIM hour for 160.-€ (including
Instructor)
· IR training on C 172, 235.-€ /h
Skill test
fee: 300.-€
Our
examiner can do the skill test for every European country!
Our
suggestion
Combine
this some days of holiday in the beautiful south of Spain, in Andalusia, on the
magic Costa de la luz, Atlantic cost!
We have
several nice accommodations’ for you available for reasonable prices!
If you have
any question, don’t hesitate to contact us.
