Na, dann hat BMW ja sicherlich kein Problem mit emails wie dieser, die jetzt in der amerikanischen Luftfahrtindustrie herumgereicht wird und natuerlich auch an kundenbetreuung@bmw.de gegangen ist:

I have become aware of an initiative by BMW to close one of the last general aviation airports in the Munich area and that BMW is planning on having a proving ground instituted there.

We are a family of BMW owners for over 30 years and currently own 5 BMW's. Further, we have been contemplating purchase this year of a replacement. We are also general aviation pilots and believe that the airports are a national resource that contributes to the economy and technology development and cannot be replaced once removed.

One of the main reasons that we have been committed to BMW vehicles is BMW's commitment to continued technology and innovation. It would seem inconsistent for BMW to take a position against technology development and innovation by destroying a resource that contributes not only to aviation innovation by also automotive innovation.

We would hope that you reconsider your position with regard to the airfield and we would then be comfortable in our belief that BMW is the best automotive choice. Further, it would seem that BMW's initiative could also be compatiable with continuted operation of the airfield and I would encourage you to pursue this possibility.
