Das verstehe ich nicht: In Deiner Liste ist der Anteil der Phasen TKOF und LDG bei "personal" und "instructional" doch fast gleich!?
Insgesamt passieren beim "personal" flying etwa zehnmal so viele schwere Unfälle wie bei der Ausbildung. Das stützt in der Tat meine These nicht - ich denke aber auch, dass "personal" flying in USA einen wesentlich höheren Anteil am Gesamt-Flugstundenaufkommen als bei uns hat.

Da hätte ich in der Tat einen höheren Anteil an "echten" IFR-Flügen mit Problemen, für die ich mir ein CAPS wünschen würde, erwartet. Also z.B. Triebwerksausfall, schwere Vereisung, multipler Instrumentenausfall... Da ist aber fast nichts dabei - eigentlich passt nur der Gyro Failure in der PA28 in mein Schema.
