FlySto’s backend processes thousands of flights every day. It parses the uploaded log files, analyzes and saves them to a database. The goal is to provide a backend that is able to process a growing amount of data reliably and quickly, enabling a flawless user experience with FlySto.
Your role will be to
• Design and implement new features in our backend to parse and analyze flight data from various sources;
• Design and implement business logic in our backend to manage users and data;
• Design and implement interfaces to other systems;
• Change or optimize existing features;
• Find solutions to handle large amounts of flight data (processing, analysis, storage);
• Communicate with customers to gather requirements and provide support.
You will work
• Primarily with Kotlin;
• Remotely in a small team.
Ideal candidate profile
• You have extensive experience with Java, C, C+t, C# (or similar strongly-typed languages);
• You have experience with server-side development;
• You have experience with SQL databases;
• You can create and comprehend complex algorithms and data structures;
• You are familiar with Kotlin;
• Your code is clean and tidy;
• You are interested in aviation (piloting) or you even have a pilot license;
• You are comfortable with working remotely in an international team, independently, self-driven and you are able to own projects.
