You can prepare yourself with some PC based prepware
by ASA, Gleim or Jeppesen (you gonna study for an "IFP"
Instrument Rating Foreign Pilot written ... 50 Qs)

You'll need to visit a FSDO.

The IFP is not a "full" U.S. instrument rating though.

Do you already hold a FAA license (validation)?
