Kontext

Hat jemand von Euch in der kleinen GA in juengster Zeit Erfahrung mit LEPP gemacht? Auf EDDH findet sich nichts. Eigentlich komisch bei einem touristisch doch attraktiven Ort. Laut AIP gibt's AVGAS und fuer die Echo-Klasse braucht's kein Handling. Alles zusammen eigentlich gute Voraussetzungen oder gibt's da noch Haaare in der Suppe?

Very friendly and easy.
Stopped there for fueling. Avgas was € 3.07 per litre.
Terminal has a few snack machines. Restaurant is closed.

25 Sept 2022. Arrived at dusk in my Stearman on my way back to the UK from Portugal. Landing and overnight parking cost €30.73 which we paid the following morning and was a very easy process. We needed to wait for an airliner to be refuelled before we could do so. Required cash. Great place to stop before tackling the Pyrenees. There is a great low level route via Lekunberri and Tolosa.

As others have stated no handling required if everyone on board is crew (a pilot). Nobody checked our badges or credentials however when going through security, one of us could have easily been a passenger. All that was required was a copy of the flight plan (can be printed upstairs in Ops, where fees can also be paid).

Fuel comes in a cute little AVGAS van.
Landing fee and one night parking in a Cessna 182 was approx. €20 euros.

Taxi to the center approx. 15 mins and €20.

Great airfield, friendly helpful ATC and great ground crew. AVGAS came in a little cute van like mentioned above and no handling as we was all crew. I stopped here for a fuel / overnight stop flying from the UK to Malaga.

For two twins (duchesses),the landing fee and over night parking was very competitive approx €76 total.

Customs was quick, efficient and friendly! You need an a flightplan to regain access to airside. This can be easily done via skydemon and printed in the ops room upstairs in the terminal!

Beautiful airfield with amazing views all around! Would highly recommend a stop in and pop into the city centre.

Brilliant little regional airport. Approach to R33 really interesting if coming from the south given terrain. Fuel was quick efficient - paid with BP card. Landing fee €11.27. Decent little cafe in terminal. GA admin upstairs on LHS of security. Be prepared to speak a bit of Spanish. Departure to the north, 5,500’ required to clear Pyrenees via LESO.

Diverted in here due to weather whilst flying Vallodolid to Agen in an R66. They couldn’t have been more helpful and I got away before 0800 the next morning. Great airport.

Due to no buses service from the airport to the city and back to the airport, is there a taxi service for only 0,70€/person. It,s necesary request It whith anticipation. Use a web translator to your language and ask for help at airport personnel at the Flight Plans Office by phone or email (they sure speak English)

Kontext

Wir waren Anfang April dort. Hab noch kein PIREP geschrieben, weil es nicht so einfach war.
Haben per Mail vorher angefragt. Zum Tanken hat man uns ein Formular geschickt, was wir ausfüllen und zurück mailen sollten. Mussten erst mal einen Drucker auftreiben. Sie wollten unbedingt eine VAT-No haben. Bezahlen ging dann per BP Karte. Cash wäre wohl auch möglich gewesen.

Taxi am Flughafen war kein Problem. Bezahlen vor dem Abflug war recht Zeitaufwendig. Flugpläne mussten gesucht werden, meinen haben sie nicht gefunden. Hab dann im Flieger noch schnell über FF einen neuen aufgeben können, allerdings dann nur noch VFR. Wetter war aber ok.

Pamplona ist eine coole Stadt und das gehampel am Airport hat sich so gesehen gelohnt. Leider kein Einzelfall. San Sebastián, Bilbao, A Corunha, Santiago, ... alles nur mit PPR, begrenztem Parken, etc. etc. GA ist dort leider nicht so easy.
